Acupuncture

Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most commonly used forms of medicine in the world. Originating in China more than 2,500 years ago, acupuncture is currently one of the most thoroughly researched, practiced, and respected forms of complementary medicine available anywhere.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, your overall health is determined by the quality of the Qi (energy) flow through the natural pathways of your body (meridians). Acupuncture uses a variety of techniques, including placing very thin sterile needles into specific points on the body, to stimulate and improve your Qi flow. The many benefits of acupuncture include:

  • Pain reduction
  • Stress and tension relief
  • Increased energy levels
  • Stronger digestion
  • Relief from bad habits and addictions
  • Greater sense of overall health and well-being

Cupping

Cupping has been a part of Chinese Medicine for over 2,500 years. It relieves aches and pains, improves circulation, and also helps with respiratory and digestive issues. I simply place a specialized "cup" onto specific points on your body, and then use suction to draw your skin up into the cups. It doesn't hurt — it simply draws fresh blood to that area of your body, which facilitates the cleansing and strengthening of your Qi (energy). The end result is a greater overall sense of health and well-being.

This service can be a stand-along treatment but it is often incorporated within the 60 min acupuncture appointment when necessary.

Electroacupuncture

Electroacupuncture is a highly effective holistic treatment for pain, nausea, and chronic ailments. In practice, it is actually very similar to traditional acupuncture. Using the exact same system of Chinese Medicine, I insert very thin and sterile needles into specific points along the meridians of your body. I then attach the needles to a device that delivers gentle electrical pulses between two points. This helps restore the healthy flow of Qi (energy) through your body, removing any blockages and clearing out stagnant areas, thus creating a stronger and clearer experience of health and well-being.

Electroacupuncture if often used to treat non-specific muscular pain on the limbs.  It is often incorporated as part of the overall acupuncture treatment.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a Traditional Chinese Medicine technique that involves the burning of mugwort, a small, spongy herb, to facilitate healing and health. Moxibustion has been used for healing purposes throughout Asia for thousands of years. The purpose of moxibustion, as with most forms of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is to strengthen the blood, stimulate the flow of Qi (energy); and enhance your overall vitality and health.

This treatment is often used to boost immunity with consistent and regular use.  It is an addition to traditional needle treatments and is incorporated when necessary.

Cosmetic Acupuncture (Microneedling and Nanoneedling)

Microneedling is the method of inserting very fine short needles into the skin for the purpose of rejuvenation.  These fine needles create tiny punctures in the skin to help stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture and reduce wrinkles, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation.  In microneedling, needles penetrate the skin at the depth of 0.25 mm to 1.5 mm and is dependent on the procedure and the sensitivity of the patient.

Nanoneedling uses microscopic, hair-like needles to penetrate the top layer of the skin (epidermis) by separating cells and allowing active ingredients to be delivered to the area.  Needles penetrate only the top 0.15 mm in depth and this treatment is used in more sensitive facial areas such as areas around the eyes, lips, and surrounding areas.

Benefits of Microneedling/Nanoneedling:

  • Improve skin texture and tone
  • Reduce acne scars
  • Brighten complexion
  • Increase collagen production
  • Enhance product absorption
  • Enhance hair growth

Every cosmetic treatment may also include traditional acupuncture and auricular needle insertion depending on the condition of the patient and the type of treatment requested.

Microneedling is recommended as a monthly treatment for a minimum of 3-5 consecutive months for optimal results.

Conversation

60 minutes: $60

As an intuitive empath/healer, I have assisted many people through personal guidance during challenging times.

You must be a believer in the power of energy, energetic exchange, and be spiritual aware in order to understand that part of the healing process is through talking and being present with one who can offer you the help.

This service is for those who are needle adverse but would like to seek healing in a non-traditional way.

I have been told by many how they felt better after one on one interaction.  And I wish to extend this offer as part of the service within Intuitive Healing as it encompasses healing but with a different modality than acupuncture alone.

I welcome those who are interested in exploring their life goals and paths.  Acupuncture needling may also be included as part of service as nothing is ever stand-alone.
